2008 Advanced Insurance Fraud Seminar

The 2008 Advanced Insurance Fraud Seminar will be held on November 10-11 2008 at the Galt House Hotel & Suites, 140 North Fourth Street, Louisville, KY. We will be offering 13 topics to choose from over our 2-day seminar. Cost for the seminar is $195.00 per day for NSPII Members and Law Enforcement personnel and $235.00 per day for Non-Members. Free shuttle service will be provided from the Galt House. This is a great way to start off the seminar so plan on coming! Our Featured Speaker this year will be Shalom Tsaroom, Chief Executive Officer, Explodet Technologies Ltd., Hod Hasharon, Israel. He will be speaking on Monday, November 10th from 8:15-noon. His topic will be Terror and Multi-Victim Disaster. He will cover (1) the role of the Forensic System of the Israel National Police in terror events, (2) management problems with a professional system under continued mental pressure, and (3) disaster victim identification in major cases. Indiana Chapter's Half-Day Seminar
 The Insurance Fraud Seminar will take place on August 20, 2008 at the Indiana Government Conference Center, 402 West Washington Street, Indianapolis, IN. It is a joint seminar between the Insurance Institute of Indiana, the International Association of Special Investigation Units, the Indiana Chapter of the National Society of Professional Insurance Investigators, and the Indiana Department of Insurance.

The Seminar runs from 11:00 a.m. to 3:45 p.m. The cost of attending is $55.00 if your check is postmarked before July 22nd and $65.00 if postmarked on or after July 22nd. Some of the topics being offered are Hail Storms and the Claims Handling Process, Identifying and Defending Against Application Fraud, Medical Provider Fraud, Hazardous Scenes, and Hurricane Katrina and the Inside Game.
